Students in grades 2-4 will think and learn creatively about an amazing natural resource-water. The 6 units include Water Sources, Uses, Pollution, Conservation, Properties, and Filtration. Each background story is followed by discussion questions; creative-thinking questions and creative activities, providing differentiation for gifted students in the regular classroom. Also are experiments based upon some of the topics discussed. An explanation of the scientific investigation model and a template are provided. A culminating activity is a research unit which includes the steps to a successful research project. Grades 2-4.
