Students must learn to analyze and interpret the literature they read not only for achievement on tests, but also for enjoyment throughout their lives. Each element is defined, then one or more examples from classic or modern literature are given. Skill-building activities based upon each element are provided. The resource covers Plot, Conflict, Character, Setting, Point of View, Style, Mood, Theme, Tone and Genre.
