This is a simple straight vane telescope spider for anyone building their first telescope.

The Thread Rod Vanes make it easy to center the spider in the telescope.
To make an even more exact fit to your telescope tube, you can install the spider into your telescope, adjust it to center and then use a hack saw and gently remove any excess threads that might stick out of the tube.
